Publications

We disseminate the results of international and domestic HTA research by means of four series of publications. Moreover, we contribute to some Finnish journals regularly by writing articles. All Finohta's own publications are published on the world wide web in addition to traditional paper form. Please use the order form to obtain printed versions of our publications or contact our office.

Impakti Journal

Impakti, previously TAinfo, is Finohta´s journal. It consists of articles written by our staff, consultants and other experts, dealing with HTA, new research results and also lighter subjects. Impakti was published six times a year and the English-language issue came out once a year as of 2005. As of January 2009 Impakti will be replaced by an electronic newsletter.

Finohta Reports

The inquiries and assessment studies commissioned or funded by our unit are published as Finohta Reports in Finnish and in English. The Reports do not include all the studies, because the results are partly made public elsewhere, e.g. in international scientific journals. Electronic versions of the Reports are available on the world wide web.

Rapid Reviews

Sometimes information on a health technology is needed so quickly that there is no time for a full health technology assessment study. Rapid Reviews (in Finnish) are produced in such situations. These reviews are usually based on foreign assessment reports the findings of which are critically appraised and applied in the Finnish context.
